What is the Section 90 Family Law Act?
Part VIII, section 90 of the Family Law Act 1975 is a part of the provision that deals with the exemption of certain instruments, deeds, agreements, and transactions from duty. For the exemption to take place, certain conditions and steps must be taken properly by the applying party. It also explains the concepts of approved and registered maintenance agreements as found in the provision. This section serves the best interests of children.
